Lateral tergosternal muscle of abdominal segments 1 to 6. It is a large muscle that extends dorsoventrally. It attaches to the inner ventral region of the abdominal tergite and to the dorsal border of the abdominal sternite. (Miller, 1950, Snodgrass, 1935)
