Motor neuron that innervates the internal muscle of the fourth axillary 58b (hg2), ipsilaterally (Ehrhardt et al., 2023. Within the ventral nerve cord, it arborizes in the dorsal mesothoracic neuropil, including the wing neuropil, with greater innervation of the contralateral side (O'Sullivan et al., 2018; Ehrhardt et al., 2023. In the male, it plays a role in pulse and sine song generation (O'Sullivan et al., 2018; Ehrhardt et al., 2023. (O'Sullivan et al., 2018)
